Greensboro's Gentleman's Clubs Cluster on South Elm and Beyond

Greensboro has a working cluster of gentleman's clubs that has operated along the outer ring of downtown and along High Point Road for decades. Christie's Cabaret on West Market is the best-known of the venues and runs the standard topless-with-full-bar format that North Carolina law permits.

The city's enforcement has been measured — clubs that stay clean continue to operate; those that don't have been shut down. Dress codes, posted house rules, and ID checks at the door are strictly enforced at the established rooms.
